Nov 21, 2007 - New game option for charities
Charities may now apply for a Class B licence to conduct limited poker
events in British Columbia. All net proceeds must be used to benefit local communities
within B.C.
This new game option is the first to be introduced for charities in
more than a decade. Inquiries regarding the conduct and management of poker
events should be directed to the Licensing and Grants Division at 250 387-5311,
or Gaming.Branch@gov.bc.ca.
