Report of Wrongdoing

This form is provided for members of the public to report wrongdoing in gambling and horse racing to GPEB.

Reports can be submitted without contact information; however, GPEB may not be able to complete an investigation if we are unable to contact you for additional information.

GPEB takes all reports seriously. If you have provided contact information, a GPEB staff member will review the details and contact you to discuss the information you have provided as soon as possible – generally within two (2) business days. Please note: Because of privacy laws, GPEB is not able to share information about the progress or outcome of any investigation.

It is GPEB’s policy and practice to keep the identity and personal information of anyone who reports suspected wrongdoing confidential; however, GPEB may be required by law to reveal the identity and contact information of any person who reports suspected wrongdoing and any information the person provides to GPEB.

Please note that if you do not wish to be identified, you should not include any information in the report that could identify you as it is possible that information you provide may still expose your identity, despite lack of name and contact information, if someone is able to determine who you are from the details you provide in the report.

This information is collected by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch under sections 26(a), (b) and (c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FoIPPA) and under sections 27(3) and 86(2) of the Gaming Control Act for the purposes of reviewing your concerns and, if necessary, to conduct an investigation. Your personal information will also be collected as per section 26(e) of FoIPPA to plan and evaluate processes, programs and activities relevant and necessary to GPEB’s functions and authorities.
